Man and God

Today in lighter mood - here are given  two short stories about the God and the Man. Read them and enjoy.

How the Man Got 80 Years of Age
On the first day, God created the dog and said to him - "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years." The dog said - "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?" So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said to him - "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span." The monkey said - "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten years like the Dog did?" And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said to him - "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."The cow said - "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about only twenty years and I'll give back the other forty?" And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created man and said to him - "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life and for this, I'll also give you twenty years." But man said - "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty. Is it okay?" "Okay,' said God, "As you ask for it."

So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves (like a man). For the next forty years we work as a slave in the sun to support our family (like a cow)y. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone (like a dog).

Man and Woman
When God created man, he wandered around for many years without any company, without any aim, without any fun. When he got tired he came to God and said - "O God, I have nobody to live with, nobody to to talk to, nobody to play with, nobody to have fun with, nobody to share my thoughts and feelings. I feel bored. Give me a companion." God said - "Very well."

So when the man had slept, God took out his one rib from near his chest and transformed it into a being. Since He created that being from man only he named it woman. When the man got up and see that woman near him he got very happy and immediately went to thank God. God accepted his thanks, and warned him pointing towards a tree - "Whatever you do, never eat the fruit of this tree." The man was so happy to get his companion that he obeyed His orders without any objection.

Now both, man and woman, started enjoying life with each other. They loved each other very much. After all she was a part of him. Both could not live without each other. They played together, they wandered together, they ate food together, they admired the nature together, they laughed together, they enjoyed each other's company together, means they did everything together. They were very happy.

But the Satan could not see their happiness. He was very jealous and always thought to start some kind of quarrel between them so that they get separated. And then what he did with them, everybody knows it. He put them in such a situation that even God exiled them from His garden and sent them to Earth. He made their lives so much worth of mockery that perhaps there are maximum jokes today on man and wife relationship.

There is still time, don't allow Satan (other people) to ruin your life. Be together, be sincere and faithful to each other, be happy. She is a part of you. Don't let anybody separate her from you.
